Early American Imprints, Series I and IIEarly American Imprints provides searchable full-text access to more than 75,000 books, pamphlets, government documents, and broadsides published from 1639 to 1819. Content included is based on American Bibliography by Charles Evans, Supplement to Evans' American Bibliography by Roger Bristol; and American Bibliography, 1801-1819, by Ralph B. Shaw and Richard H. Shoemaker. The database covers topics from agriculture and auctions through foreign affairs, diplomacy, literature, music, religion, the Revolutionary War, temperance, witchcraft, and much more. Fogler Library subscribes to Series I: Evans (1639-1800) and Series II: Shaw-Shoemaker (1801-1819), as well as Supplements to both series from the Library Company of Philadelphia and the American Antiquarian Society. Most titles in the Supplements are newly discovered and were not listed in the original print bibliographies.
