Literature OnlineLiterature Online (LION) Core Collection contains more than 350,000 works of poetry, prose and drama from the 8th century to the present day, in the English language. This corpus is supported by a database of up-to-date, fully searchable criticism and reference resources, with more than 430 full-text scholarly journals covering all aspects of literary studies. Indexing is from the Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature (ABELL) from 1920 forward, covering critical theory, interdisciplinary studies, film studies, theatre studies, stylistics, and pedagogy, in addition to more traditional forms of literary scholarship. LION also includes author bibliographies and biographies; reference works; KnowledgeNotes student guides; and audio and video.
