Maine FisheriesThe Maine Fisheries database contains digitized images of historical records relating to fishing. The documents in this database, which was developed by Fogler Library, include a variety of archival materials, such as logs of fishing vessels; sales, catch and landing records; and customs records.  The documents date primarily from the 19th and 20th centuries, and were scanned from the holdings of the following institutions: Bangor Public Library, Boothbay Harbor Historical Society, Castine Historical Society, Fogler Library, Machias Historical Society, Maine Maritime Museum, Maine State Archives, Monhegan Island Museum, Old Berwick Historical Society, Penobscot Marine Museum.  Materials will be continue to be added to this database on an ongoing basis.
