U.S. Congressional Serial Set MapsThe U.S. Congressional Serial Set Maps collection of approximately 1,500 maps has been selected based on topics in the material antebellum, civil war and reconstruction related topics covered in the material published by Congress between 1843 and 1935. These maps were published in the documents and reports of the U.S. Congressional Serial Set. Readex has created this maps search module (in addition to that for the Serial Set) to focus searches on maps themselves - the geographic areas they depict, the subjects they represent, their titles, and the names associated with the maps either as cartographers, explorers, or in some other capacity.
