Information about the Database Statistical Abstract of the United States The U.S. Census Bureau terminated the collection of data for the Statistical Compendia program (including the Statistical Abstract of the U.S. and its supplemental products, the State and Metropolitan Area Data Book and the County and City Data Book) effective October 1, 2011. This site provides Statistical Abstract publications for 1878 to 2012, with free access to thousands of statistical tables drawn from published and unpublished data from federal agencies, plus some state and private sources.
