America's Historical NewspapersEarly American Newspapers (a subset of Readex's America's Historical Newspapers) allows users to search more than 2,000 U.S. historical newspapers published between 1690 and 1922, including titles from all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Created by Readex through partnerships with the American Antiquarian Society, Library of Congress, Wisconsin Historical Society and more than 90 other institutions. Content is partially based on titles listed in Clarence Brigham's History and Bibliography of American Newspapers,1690-1820. The University of Maine / Fogler Library subscribes to Early American Newspapers, Series 1-11.
