Making Sense of Journal Information

The library catalog has a record for each individual journal title owned by the University of Maine System Libraries. Each journal record is broken down into sections.  The top section is the title and publishing history of a particular journal.  The next section indicates the location, recent issues and older volumes of the journal owned by the UMS Libraries. The final section describes the physical characteristics and the date when it began. Further down, though not shown here, are the notes, subject headings, etc.
