Mariner Tutorial Copyright Policy

The Mariner Tutorials were developed primarily for the University of Maine System faculty, staff and students, who are encouraged to use the tutorials as personal learning aids or as UMS classroom resources.

All pages and images are copyrighted by the University of Maine System Libraries and may not be reproduced without permission except for the following instructional exemption.

Limited License: The University of Maine Libraries grants to non-profit educational institutions, and other non-profit institutions such as public libraries, a limited license for use of the Mariner Tutorials in instructional situations. This license includes both electronic and paper copies, provided that the copyright statement remains visible and paper copies are distributed at or below the cost of reproduction.
