Journal Citation Reports | InCities: Journal Citation Reports allows the user to evaluate and compare the impact of journals. Journals can be displayed by subject area and organized by impact factor, total citations to the journal, immediacy index, total number of articles, and cited-half life. Individual journal titles can be searched. A journal’s impact factor is defined by JCR as the number of citations to articles published in a 2-year period divided by the number of articles published during those same 2 years. JCR indexes over 5,900 journals from the sciences and over 1,700 journals from the social sciences. Please read “Using Journal Citation Reports Wisely” in the Information for New Users window. |
